Our company is following our Founder’s footsteps, the late Mr. Gerasimos Stellatos, who had the charisma throughout his career to identify new business routes by predicting new key spots – ports and therefore was able to establish a respectable name in the shipping market of Piraeus since 1977. Throughout his professional life, he has served in leading management and operational positions in major shipping companies in Greece, apart from his role as a successful and reputable shipping agent.

Holding a BA from University of Plymouth in England and an LL.M in Legal Aspects of Marine Affairs from Cardiff University in Wales, she has more than 21 years of experience in the shipping industry, working as a Broker in chartering and sale and purchase of dry cargo vessels, as a Legal Advisor by handling incoming claims on a daily basis on behalf of a leading international shipping company (one of the largest shipping enterprises worldwide with 75 vessels, totaling in excess of approx. 5 million dwt named Tsakos Shipping & Trading, handled negotiations re multimillion dollar claims with all parties involved, contacted and collaborated with P&I Clubs, created & developed long term business business relationships with high profile professionals in maritime business internationally (Bankers, Ship-owners, Legal & Financial Advisors, Maritime Brokers, Insurers & Underwriters), represented her then employer in numerous maritime business events in Greece and abroad such as Stephenson & Harwood Law Firm – Siemens – Elmira Shipping Company etc.

“Nikos” joined the family business in 2007 and with his specialized studies in shipping, managed to boost the company revenues and enhance its profile throughout the years, while he also upgraded our Agency Department, by introducing modern internal management procedures. Following his graduation from Nautical University of Piraeus, he worked as a Charterer at “Machrimar Management S.A”, a chartering company established in 1976. A pure competitive and dynamic shipping broker and an excellent team player he established himself as a dynamic Shipping Agent. Apart from 10 years experience in shipping agency business, he has also dealt with the luxury yacht business, given that he managed to sell and purchase M/T on behalf of private clients rendering them owners of luxury M/Y for the first time in their lives. Nikos and the rest of our team are inspecting more than 30 vessels per year offering to our clients, full evaluation about the vessels price and its current condition, while also supervises the daily management of our privately owned M/Y SANI.

“Kostas” is an inherent and key part of our back office Team, with more than 5 years of experience in the shipping industry. Following a tenure as Trainee with a major shipping company in Piraeus, he joined our Team 2 years ago. His responsibilities include (inter alia) handling incoming enquiries from potential clients, liaise & negotiate with forwarders, monitor Import/Export shipments, preparing shipping documents, i.e GL reporting/ schedules and closing, handling AP, AR, Petty cash, fixed assets, Intercompany billings and staff claims, preparing journal entries, maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts, preparing support schedules for month-end closings and audit purposes, co-ordinating with Freight forwarder for Import / Export shipments, drafting LC documentation, and coordinating Marine Shipment Receipt & Loading with Terminal, Surveyor & Freight Forwarders.

Captain Nikitas, following years of experience with one of the biggest shipping companies in the world, namely Anangel Maritime Services, is now part of our Team, responsible for delivery of M/Y on behalf of private clients, from any Port or Marina in the Mediterranean. With his “hands on” maritime experience, we and our client consider him a valuable asset for all our maritime operations and re provision of effective services.
